WaterWalk on Wednesday announced its first new tenant in several months.

Pulaski Bank Home Lending, a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Pulaski Bank, has signed a multi-year lease for an office to enter the Wichita banking market.

The loan production office will occupy nearly 1,600 square feet in Suite 102 of WaterWalk Place. The office will be managed by Mitch Crouch, long-time Wichita mortgage banker.

“We have seen a renewed interest of office users looking for quality space downtown, and this announcement represents the next step for WaterWalk and for Pulaski,” said Doug Rupe, Executive Vice President of WaterWalk.

Founded in 1922, Pulaski Bank operates 12 bank locations in the St. Louis metropolitan area, and three loan production offices in the Kansas City metropolitan area and Godfrey, Ill.

Marlin Penner of John T. Arnold Associates and Rob Pestinger of Coldwell Banker Plaza Real Estate handled the lease transaction.

Construction will begin within the next few weeks. Opening of the offices will occur after the first of the year.
